This is like the sister of Elephant Mountain in that it requires a short simple hike and gives an excellent view of Xinyi and Taipei 101, except it’s from the opposite angle and is usually much less crowded than the former.
It is really cool to see the contrast between the rusty old apartment buildings in the foreground and the modern look of 101 and the big buildings on the horizon.
It’s also not too hard to get to, as the entrance is about 10 minutes walk from MRT Linguang Station as well as accessible by bus.
This might not get as much notoriety as Xiangshan but it’s still a really good spot to see an urban sunset!
